Peter’s recommended aftercare instructions for using Angry Ink® Tattoo Balm
Heading 1
Day 1: (First 24 hours): Remove wrap after 2 to 5 hours, unless your tattoo artist suggests otherwise. Gently wash with fingertips and Antibacterial Gold Dial Foam Soap until no longer slimy. As a last resort, use water. Air dry or dab dry with paper towels, but do not use cloth towels due to the risk of bacteria and infection. Apply a thin layer of Angry Ink® Tattoo Balm.
Days 2-5: (Wash and Protect): Wash and air dry at least 2 times a day, using the same soap. Keep free from lint, pet hair, and bacteria. Avoid drying out your tattoo by maintaining a thin layer of Angry Ink® Tattoo Balm at all times, especially after your tattoo is washed. To prevent losing ink, stay out of the sun, do not go swimming and avoid laying on your tattoo.
Day 6+: (Final Heal): Once your tattoo starts to peel, switch to a non-scented lotion and add a thin layer of Angry Ink® Tattoo Balm to seal in the moisture. Some heavily inked areas peel twice, so do not rush the process by scratching, picking, or peeling your healing tattoo. A freshly peeled tattoo will look shiny and milky, but this will fade within the next 2-3 weeks.d tattoo will look shiny and milky, but this will fade within the next 2-3 weeks.
